Northern Forum Urges Northern Senators to Confirm Reno Omokri as Ambassador

The Northern Forum for Good Governance has appealed to Northern Senators to support and ratify the nomination of Mr. Reno Omokri as one of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s ambassadorial nominees.

In a statement signed by its Coordinator, Dr. Musa Mohammed ,the group said Omokri has demonstrated “the capacity to lead and represent Nigeria effectively at any level,” adding that his nomination is a welcome development deserving of national support.

President Tinubu recently forwarded 32 ambassadorial nominees— including Omokri — to the Senate for confirmation, just days after sending an initial list of three names. However, sources within the National Assembly revealed that the Senate is currently grappling with internal disagreements, largely triggered by Omokri’s inclusion on the list.

Reno Omokri, a former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan and a prominent social media commentator, had in the past been critical of President Tinubu, including allegations that he once referred to the President as a “drug baron.” These past comments have reportedly stirred controversy within Senate circles as lawmakers debate his suitability.

But the Northern Forum for Good Governance insists that ambassadorial appointments should be based solely on merit, competence, and the capacity to deliver, not on sentiments or past political disagreements.

“The issues of capacity and performance should be the yardstick for appointments, not flippant matters or emotional considerations,” the group stated.

The Forum urged Northern Senators to prioritize national cohesion and development by supporting Omokri’s confirmation. It argued that President Tinubu’s decision to nominate him despite previous criticisms shows statesmanship and an ability to recognize talent above personal differences.

“Tinubu must have seen a unique side of him despite his past attacks, and that is what is most important from a good leader,” the statement added.

The Senate is expected to begin screening the nominees in the coming days.

Boastful Chinese Miners Storm Ambam Lithium Field with Armed Escort, Vowing Abuja-Backed Takeover and Ousting Rivals

Boastful Chinese Miners Storm Ambam Lithium Field with Armed Escort, Vowing Abuja-Backed Takeover and Ousting Rivals

By MBT Investigative Desk

December 1st, 2025, Ambam Community, Jema’a Local Government Area, Kaduna State Beneath the tranquil farmlands of Ambam community in Kaduna State lies a treasure of the modern age: vast deposits of lithium, the coveted “white gold” powering the global revolution in electric vehicles. For two years, this potential wealth was managed under a peaceful and mutually beneficial coexistence, governed by a Community Development Agreement (CDA) between the residents and Range Mining Ltd, a Nigerian company with a UK parent. But that peace shattered on November 15, 2025, when a Chinese-owned company, Mystics Mining Resources Limited, arrived with armed security and a brazen claim of ownership, igniting a conflict that reveals a dark underbelly of Nigeria’s mining sector. The arrival of Mystics Mining was not a quiet entry. Community sources describe a convoy rolling into the field where Range Mining was legally operating, escorted by armed personnel of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

The show of force sent a clear and unsettling message: a new power had arrived, and it was not interested in negotiation. When contacted by this newspaper, the State Commandant of the NSCDC, Mr. Panam Musa, who authorized the deployment, initially defended his actions. “The reason for deploying new security personnel on the mine field was because there are up to four companies claiming ownership of the field,” he stated. He promised to visit the site to resolve the matter. However, the legitimacy of Mystics Mining’s claim quickly began to unravel. A source within the Ambam community, speaking on condition of anonymity, revealed that the Chinese company claimed to have the permission of the Kaduna Mining Development Company (KMDC). But when confronted with this claim, the Managing Director of KMDC, Engr. Shuaibu Kabir Bello, was unequivocal in his denial.”I am telling you now that we don’t know Mystics Mining and I have ordered Civil Defense to stop them immediately. They will be arrested,” Bello declared, exposing a stark contradiction between the company’s assertions and official record. The swift denial from the state’s own mining company raises a critical question: what was the basis for the NSCDC’s armed escort? Pressed on this, Commandant Musa offered a vague explanation. “Mystics Mining came to my office with some documents which warranted the deployment of armed personnel,” he said. He notably failed to specify what these documents were. “Later I found out that the field they were going to was the same being occupied by Range. As we speak now, I am on the site and have ordered them to stop work immediately.

“This reactive stance, coming only after the illegal incursion was exposed, points to a deeper problem: the alleged use of financial influence to bypass due process. A high-level security source, who also requested anonymity, disclosed that Mystics Mining Ltd had already engaged in a massive bribery scheme to gain access.”As I am talking to you now, Mystics Mining has spent over 250 million naira bribing some key people in Ambam community,” the source revealed. “With that, they believe they can do and undo.”This allegation of a N250 million bribe is at the heart of the community’s new turmoil. It suggests a deliberate strategy to create division and sideline the established, lawful agreement with Range Mining Ltd. Another community source, fearing persecution, confirmed the aggressive posture of the Chinese firm. “They boasted to us that whether we like it or not, they will soon be in charge of all the mining lands here. They told us that they have backing from the top in Abuja and that they will surely kick every other company out.”The CDA: A Broken Covenant and a Community Torn ApartThe CDA between Ambam and Range Mining was more than a contract; it was a covenant that outlined tangible benefits, jobs, infrastructure, and social services, in exchange for the community’s most valuable asset: access to their land. The arrival of Mystics Mining, with its alleged cash injections, has violently ruptured this social fabric.”This N250 million is a poison,” laments a community elder who pleaded for anonymity for fear of reprisals. “It has divided our sons and daughters. Where we once had a collective agreement for our future, we now have whispers, suspicion, and the violence of silence. Those who have taken the money are now agents of a company that does not know our name, only our resource.”This internal conflict is a classic tactic observed in resource-rich but governance-poor regions. The large, upfront sum from Mystics Mining creates a powerful, immediate incentive for a few, effectively dismantling the collective bargaining power of the community and undermining the long-term, structured benefits of a formal CDA.Landowners Cry Foul: “The Chinese Lied to Us”The depth of what now looks like Mystics Mining’s deception has now become painfully clear to those who initially engaged with them. In a revealing development, landowners who received N50 million each from the Chinese company are now expressing deep regret and alleging they were deliberately misled. Two landowners, speaking on condition of anonymity for fear of reprisals, confirmed to this newspaper that they were told a fundamentally different story. “The Chinese told us they have an agreement with Range Mining for some form of collaboration. That was why we listened to them. But now we know they lied to us,” one landowner stated with evident frustration. The landowners were adamant about the nature of their transaction with Mystics Mining. “There’s no agreement between the landowners and the Chinese.

They are telling people that we sold our land to them. That is not true,” the source emphasized. “Tell the Chinese to show the land document. We didn’t sign any agreement with them.”This revelation exposes a calculated strategy by Mystics Mining: rather than pursuing legitimate land acquisition through proper legal channels, the company allegedly used cash payments to create the appearance of authorization while falsely claiming partnership with the legitimate title-holder, Range Mining. The landowners now find themselves caught between the promise of immediate financial gain and the realization that they may have been used as pawns in an illegal takeover scheme—without even securing the legal protections that a formal land sale agreement would provide.A National Pattern of Predatory MiningThe drama in Ambam is a microcosm of a national crisis. Research into the activities of Chinese mining companies in Nigeria reveals a consistent trail of legal breaches, environmental degradation, and community conflicts.Federal Government Crackdowns: In recent years, the Nigerian Federal Government has repeatedly called out and taken action against illegal Chinese miners. In May 2020, former Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Olamilekan Adegbite, explicitly stated that “a lot of illegal mining is being done by Chinese companies in the country.” He highlighted their tactic of operating with fake licenses or none at all, precisely the allegation facing Mystics Mining. The Akwa Ibom State Government closed Ruitai Mining Company in August 2023 after the Chinese-owned firm failed to produce valid operating licenses. Uno Etim Eno, the state’s Commissioner for Environment and Mineral Resources, announced the shutdown during a press conference in Uyo. He explained that Ruitai Mining, which operated a titanium ore extraction facility in Ibeno community, could not provide the necessary authorization documents required for its mining operations. The closure highlighted ongoing regulatory enforcement challenges in Nigeria’s mining sector, particularly regarding foreign-owned operations and compliance with federal licensing requirements. The “Backing from the Top” and a Flawed Security ApparatusThe most chilling aspect of the Ambam case is Mystics Mining’s alleged boast of having “backing from the top in Abuja.” This claim, whether bluff or reality, points to the high-level corruption that enables such brazen operations. It suggests a network of complicity that reaches into the federal ministries and regulatory bodies tasked with overseeing the sector. The initial compliance of the NSCDC, a federal security agency, adds credence to this fear. The fact that armed state personnel were deployed based on unspecified “documents,” directly contravening the rights of a title-holder and the knowledge of the state mining agency, reveals a critical vulnerability in the nation’s resource governance framework. It underscores how easily security apparatuses can be weaponized by private interests with deep pockets, turning state-protectors into facilitators of illegal takeover. The Verdict: Status Quo Ante and the Rule of LawThe investigation reached a critical juncture on Friday, November 28, when the Commander of the NSCDC Mining Marshals, John Onoja, convened a meeting with representatives from both Mystics Mining Resources Ltd and Range Mining Ltd. Onoja, a no-nonsense, award-winning officer known for his commitment to the rule of law, delivered a decisive ruling that exposed the fundamental flaw in both companies’ claims.”By the submission of both parties and their respective presentation, none possess the requisite documents for mining in the disputed area,” Onoja stated in his official assessment to this newspaper. “Same was confirmed and admitted to by both parties. Both parties also stated that they are still in the process of obtaining necessary licence from Mining Cadastre Office. Hence, it was only normal to resolve that all parties should suspend mining activities pending when requisite documents to do so is gotten. So none are to work in view of the indication of the preliminary investigation conducted with both parties. Further investigation continues.”However, Onoja’s ruling made a crucial distinction between the two companies’ positions. While neither possessed a valid mining license, Range Mining’s activities on the site were deemed lawful and beneficial to national security efforts.”During the meeting with both parties, it was confirmed that Range was not mining on the field but was providing security while awaiting their mining license,” Onoja explained. “That is a welcome development we encourage from citizens. It is on that basis that I advised that status quo be maintained until either of the companies is able to secure a license to mine.”This ruling effectively validates Range Mining’s presence on the site as a security measure against illegal mining—precisely the activity that Mystics Mining’s armed incursion on November 15 had threatened to enable.

The decision to revert to “status quo” (the situation before November 15) means that Mystics Mining’s controversial entry, backed by alleged N250 million in bribes and armed NSCDC personnel, has been officially rejected as having “no business on the controversial minefield.”When asked if the directive to revert to status quo has been followed, Onoja indicated that compliance is being monitored.

“That is being looked upon at the moment and I assure you that everything will be alright,” he said.A Victory for Due Process, But a Community Still Divided The ruling represents a significant victory for the rule of law in Nigeria’s troubled mining sector. It confirms that neither deep pockets nor alleged connections in Abuja can substitute for proper licensing procedures. The exposure of Mystics Mining’s lack of documentation vindicates the concerns raised by the Kaduna Mining Development Company and validates the suspicions that the Chinese company’s “documents” shown to the NSCDC were insufficient or fraudulent. But for the people of Ambam, the battle is far from over. The N250 million that allegedly changed hands continues to divide the community.

Range Mining’s Community Development Agreement, once a source of unity and hope, now competes with the immediate cash that has already been distributed to select individuals and landowners who now express regret over being misled. The landowners who received N50 million each have been vindicated in their claim that they signed no formal agreement with Mystics Mining and were deceived about the Chinese company’s relationship with Range Mining. Yet the money they accepted has already complicated the community’s solidarity, even as they now distance themselves from the Chinese firm.

The lithium field remains a flashpoint—a test case for whether Nigeria can enforce its own mining regulations against well-funded interests that employ bribery, deception, and the weaponization of state security forces. Commander John Onoja’s decision to prioritize legal compliance over competing claims is a rare bright spot in a sector plagued by corruption and regulatory capture.

The battle for Ambam’s lithium is more than a corporate dispute; it is a critical test of Nigeria’s political will to govern its resources, enforce its own laws, and protect its most vulnerable communities from the predatory forces of illegal, often foreign-backed, mining conglomerates. The outcome will resonate far beyond Kaduna, signaling to other would-be predators whether Nigeria’s “white gold” rush will be governed by law or by the highest bribe. For now, at least, the law has spoken—but whether it will be obeyed, and whether the community of Ambam can heal from this divisive episode, remains to be seen.

As Commander Onoja’s investigation continues and authorities monitor compliance with the status quo directive, the residents of Ambam wait to see if their lithium wealth will finally deliver the promised prosperity, or if it will remain a source of division and conflict.

NSNCM Urges FG to Fulfil Promise of Two Million Electric Tricycles

NSNCM Urges FG to Fulfil Promise of Two Million Electric Tricycles

The Nineteen Seventeen Northern Consensus Movement (NSNCM) has called on the Federal Government to honour its campaign promise of providing two million electric tricycles to its members registered under the Community Transport Initiative of the Presidential Campaign Council.

Speaking at a news conference on Sunday in Kaduna, the National President of NSNCM, Dr. Auwal Abdullahi, said the commitment was made through the National Commercial Tricycle and Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association (NATOMORAS), an affiliate of the movement, during the 2023 campaign period.

According to him, the tricycles were expected to be distributed under the Community Transport Directorate, headed by the National President of NATOMORAS, Mr. Usman Gwoza, who also doubles as the Director of Contact and Mobilisation of NSNCM.

Abdullahi explained that members were instructed to pay registration fees after being informed that the Federal Government would fund 50 per cent of the unit cost, while beneficiaries would offset the remaining balance. He added that the payments were made through NATOMORAS to the Non-Governmental Association of Nigeria (NOGAS), a body said to be engaged in poverty alleviation, skills acquisition and educational support programmes.

The NSNCM president expressed concern that despite the recent launch of electric tricycles in Abuja, none of the two million units earmarked for their members had been delivered.

He noted that the prolonged delay had triggered agitation among members, resulting in arrests and alleged harassment of some leaders.

Abdullahi emphasised that the movement, which comprises 598 registered associations across the 19 Northern states, played a key role in mobilising votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu during the 2023 general elections.

“We are supporters of President Tinubu. We campaigned and voted massively through the Community Transport Department of the Presidential Campaign Council. We are only asking that the promise made to our members be honoured,” he stated.

He urged President Tinubu to direct the immediate release of the electric tricycles to NATOMORAS for onward distribution to all verified beneficiaries.

Abdullahi further warned that if the government fails to take positive action by December 15, the movement would mobilise its more than two million registered

for a peaceful protest to demand the fulfilment of the campaign pledge.

“No politician will want to joke with two million votes in 2027,” he added.

Kurama Cries out as Bandits Demand N500m to Free 13 Breadwinners

‎”We Are Helpless, We Have Nothing Left to Give” Kurama Cries out as Bandits Demand N500m to Free 13 Breadwinners

By Tom Garba

‎The entire Kurama Chiefdom in Lere Local Government Area of Kaduna State has been plunged into uncontrollable mourning as terrorists holding thirteen residents, including an ECWA pastor, have issued a chilling ransom demand of Five Hundred Million Naira (N500,000,000) – a sum the traumatised communities say is impossible to raise.

‎Two weeks after gunmen stormed the sleepy villages of Gidan Yawa, Maiyamma, Jantsauni, and Maidoki around 10:30 pm, shooting three people dead and abducting thirty others in a night of terror, the bandits have now reduced their captives to thirteen and delivered their outrageous price for freedom.

‎“We are finished. These are the breadwinners of their families; farmers, fathers, a pastor, and the bandits are asking for half a billion naira. Where will poor villagers find such money?” wept Mr. Pius Agaji Kyauta, National Publicity Secretary of the Federated Kurama Association.
‎ “Our people are helpless. We have no guns, no soldiers, no money. We are at the mercy of these killers.”

‎The affected villages, quiet farming settlements on the outskirts of Yarkasuwa, were overrun by suspected armed Fulani bandits who moved from house to house, dragging out men, women and children while firing indiscriminately. The thirteen still in captivity are believed to be those considered most “valuable” by the terrorists.

‎The Kurama people say they have been abandoned to their fate. Traditional rulers sit in silence, palaces turned into mourning grounds. Mothers whose sons were taken wail openly in the streets. The communities have no means to borrow, no collateral to sell, and no hope of meeting even a fraction of the ransom.

‎This latest atrocity is only the most recent in a long chain of bloodshed visited upon the Kurama nation. In recent years, the District Head of Garun Kurama, the District Head of Gurzan Kurama, a Catholic priest of Yadin Garun Kurama Parish, the wife and son of the Lere LGA APC Chairman Hon. Jonathan Shekarau, and countless farmers have all been kidnapped or murdered. Many remain in captivity or were killed when ransom could not be paid.

‎“We beg President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, National Security Adviser Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, and our Governor Senator Uba Sani – please come to our rescue,” Mr. Kyauta pleaded, his voice breaking. “Kurama people, Amo, Surubu, Chawai, even Igbos living among us – everyone is a victim. We are tired of burying our people and paying blood money we do not have.”

‎As night falls over the scarred villages, mothers clutch empty mats where their children once slept, fathers stare at abandoned farms, and an entire chiefdom waits in helpless dread – knowing the next phone call from the bandits could bring either a reduced demand they still cannot meet, or the unbearable news that more lives have been taken because they are too poor to buy them back.

‎For now, the Kurama nation can only mourn and pray, utterly powerless against the terror that has made their land a valley of tears.

Ex-Lawmakers Laud Tinubu for Swift Rescue of Abducted Students, Worshippers

…Warn El-Rufai Against Baseless Allegations

The National Forum of Ex-Councillors has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what it described as his swift and decisive intervention leading to the early release of abducted students in Niger State and church worshippers in Kwara State.

Speaking at a press conference in Kaduna, the National President of the Forum, Ambassador Auwal Kassim Hassan, said the President’s prompt action served as an “elixir” that ensured the victims regained their freedom sooner than expected.

The group urged security agencies to intensify efforts and complement the President’s interventions so that other Nigerians still held captive in different parts of the country could also be rescued without delay.

Addressing recent political tensions in Kaduna State, the former councillors dismissed the allegation by former Governor Nasir El-Rufai that the current administration under Senator Uba Sani paid billions of naira to bandits.

Ambassador Hassan described the claim as baseless and called on President Tinubu to “call El-Rufai to order.”

He cautioned that as grassroots stakeholders, they might be compelled to mobilize thousands of youths and women across Kaduna State against the former governor, his family, and his associates should he continue to “unjustifiably criticize” the Tinubu administration at the federal level and Governor Uba Sani’s government in Kaduna State.

The Forum reiterated its support for the current administrations, insisting that political actors must exercise restraint and avoid statements capable of undermining security efforts or destabilizing the state.

APGG Urges Hon. Abdul Malik Zubairu to Contest Zamfara Governorship in 2027, Citing Track Record in Development, Empowerment

APGG Urges Hon. Abdul Malik Zubairu to Contest Zamfara Governorship in 2027, Citing Track Record in Development, Empowerment

A northern socio-political group, Arewa Progressives for Good Governance (APGG), has called on the member representing Bungudu/Maru Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Abdul Malik Zubairu (Zannan Bungudu) to contest the Zamfara State governorship election in 2027, citing what it described as his exceptional commitment to development, accountability, and the upliftment of the downtrodden.

In a statement made available to journalists, the group—whose membership cuts across the 19 northern states—said its unanimous endorsement of the lawmaker followed “a thorough assessment” of his performance in the National Assembly, particularly in the areas of education, youth empowerment, and grassroots development.

According to APGG, Hon. Zubairu has distinguished himself as one of the most development-focused legislators from the North-West, implementing sustainable programmes that have directly impacted vulnerable groups, rural communities, and unemployed youths.

The group noted that his educational support initiatives, including scholarships, vocational skills training, ICT programmes, and facilitation of learning materials for public schools, have contributed to reducing illiteracy and restoring hope among young people in Zamfara State.

Beyond education, APGG praised his empowerment programmes, which include agricultural support for rural farmers, business start-up grants for women and youths, and capacity-building interventions aimed at economic independence.

“As a lawmaker, Hon. Abdul Malik Zubairu has gone beyond lawmaking by touching lives through projects and programmes deliberately designed to reduce poverty and build human capacity,” the statement read.

The group further highlighted his contributions to the National Assembly, including the sponsorship and co-sponsorship of bills and motions geared towards security reforms, rural infrastructure, social welfare, and economic inclusiveness.

“These legislative interventions have placed him among representatives who prioritise people-driven policies and long-term development,” APGG stated.

Expressing concern over what it described as years of stagnation, insecurity, and socio-economic decline in Zamfara State, the APGG said the 2027 governorship election presents “an opportunity for genuine rescue and renewal”.

“It is against this background that we are calling on him to heed our call and contest to rescue the good people of Zamfara State from the shackles of retrogression,” the group said.

The APGG added that the state, plagued by banditry, unemployment, collapsing public education, and deteriorating infrastructure, “needs a leader with competence, courage, and proven compassion for the people”.

The group insisted that Hon. Zubairu’s record makes him “best suited to provide the visionary and accountable leadership needed to reposition Zamfara”.

While the lawmaker is yet to officially respond to the call, political observers say APGG’s position signals the beginning of early mobilization ahead of the 2027 elections, with several northern groups already assessing potential candidates capable of stabilizing troubled states like Zamfara.

If Hon. Zubairu accepts the call, his candidacy is expected to reshape the political conversation in Zamfara, given his reputation, legislative performance, and growing grassroots support.

Keep standing tall, sir. Your leadership is our pride.

NSNCM Hails Federal Government, Judiciary Over Nnamdi Kanu’s Life Imprisonment

NSNCM Hails Federal Government, Judiciary Over Nnamdi Kanu’s Life Imprisonment

The Nineteen Seventeen Northern Consensus Movement for Peace, Unity, Empowerment and Development Initiative (NSNCM), an umbrella body comprising 598 registered associations across the 19 northern states as well as northern associations in the 17 southern states and the Federal Capital Territory, has commended the Federal Government and security agencies over the life imprisonment sentence handed to the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

In a statement issued on Monday, November 24, 2025, and signed by its National President, Awwal Abdullahi Aliyu, the group said the conviction of Kanu was a “victory for justice and the rule of law.”

The NSNCM recalled that it had consistently demanded Kanu’s arrest, detention, and prosecution, accusing him of instigating violence, killings, and destruction of property belonging to northerners and security agencies in the South-East.

The movement expressed appreciation to the Federal Government and security agencies for what it described as “diligent investigation and prosecution,” and commended the judiciary for “standing firm and independent despite pressures.”

“We commend the Nigerian judiciary for allowing the law to take its natural course. The conviction of Nnamdi Kanu is a testament to our nation’s commitment to justice and the rule of law,” the statement read in part.

The group also lauded the previous administration of the late President Muhammadu Buhari for resisting calls for Kanu’s unconditional release, stressing that doing so would have undermined national security.

While congratulating security agencies for presenting “facts and figures” that aided the court’s decision, the NSNCM urged Nigerians to embrace peace and unity.

“As a nation, we must continue to live in harmony, with love, understanding, and patriotism. We must shun all actions capable of threatening our unity or disintegrating the country,” the group added.

The NSNCM reaffirmed its commitment to supporting initiatives that promote peace, development, and national cohesion.

BREAKING: SEN YARI DONATES N500m AT ACF’s SILVER JUBILEE

BREAKING: SEN YARI DONATES N500m AT ACF’s SILVER JUBILEE

… As Sen Wamakko Gets Honored

The Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) marked its 25th anniversary in grand style on Wednesday, with Senator Abdulaziz Yari stealing the spotlight after announcing a monumental N500 million donation to support the Forum’s ongoing intervention programmes across Northern Nigeria.

The declaration, made inside the packed Musa Yar’Adua Conference Hall in Kaduna, instantly set the tone for an evening defined by generosity, statesmanship, and renewed commitment to tackling poverty and insecurity in the region.

Riding on the wave of Yari’s bold gesture, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko (Sarkin Yamman Sokoto) followed up with a N100 million donation, reinforcing his long-standing dedication to development efforts in the North. Four other eminent Nigerians very close to Senator Yari also took turns to donate N100 million each, pushing the total amount raised at that point to N1 billion.

The fundraising segment reached even greater heights as other major donors were acknowledged, including the Chief Launcher, Alhaji Abdussamad Isiaka Rabiu, and Alhaji Aliko Dangote, both of whom donated N2.5 billion each. They were followed by General T. Y. Danjuma and Alhaji Dahiru Mangal, who contributed N1 billion each, alongside many other supporters too numerous to mention, reflecting an overwhelming outpouring of solidarity for ACF’s mission.

The high-profile ceremony also saw Senator Wamakko conferred with the ACF Distinguished Service Award, recognizing his exceptional contributions to leadership, unity, and social development. Visibly touched, he described the honour as “a tribute to all who strive for the upliftment of our society.”

The event attracted the region’s most influential statesmen, including former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, followed by former Vice President Arc. Namadi Sambo, who both graced the celebration alongside Kaduna State Deputy Governor Hajiya Hadiza Balarabe.

Other national icons honoured at the gathering included Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Senator George Akume, and General T. Y. Danjuma, underscoring the calibre of personalities aligned with ACF’s mission.

By combining philanthropy, recognition, and renewed calls for service-driven leadership, ACF’s silver jubilee not only celebrated a milestone — it reignited a powerful conversation about responsibility, unity, and the future of Northern Nigeria.
