Certificate Scandal: Concerned Nigerian Youths Hail U.S Court Order Against Tinubu

Group under aegis of Concerned Nigerian Youths has hailed the

United States Court over the order given to Chicago State University (CSU) to release President Bola Tinubu’s academic records to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar within stipulated time frame.

Recalled that the presiding U.S judge, Nancy Maldonado dismissed Tinubu’s objection, issuing a two-day ultimatum to CSU to release the documents to Atiku.

The Judge, who upheld the September 20 ruling of US Magistrate Judge, Jeffery Gilbert that  ordered the CSU to release Tinubu’s academic records as requested by Atiku, stressed  that the PDP candidate Atiku had the right to have access to the records.

The group in a press statement signed by Comrade Hassan Aliyu said , the the Concerned Nigerian Youths expressed  joy over what it described  as “laudable” decision of the judge who stood firm that Chicago University must produce Tinubu’s academic documents.

According to the statement,it  is a clear evidence that United States has a  very strong judicial institution that did not compromise standard of judgement.Despite the fact that there pressure for compromise, the judge stood her ground.

The statement further reads, “We are  happy and satisfied that the Court also overruled President Tinubu’s objections and adopted Judge Gilbert’s recommended decision

“It is a great feat that Justice Maldonado of the Northern District of Illinois ruled in favour of former Vice President Atiku  Abubakar’s  application under 28 U.S.C. § 1782.

“However, in compliance to court order , the Chicago State University (CSU) finally released the academic records of President Bola Tinubu to Atiku Abubakar.

“Atiku, the presidential candidate of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Nigeria’s 25 February election, had requested the documents to back his allegation of forgery of CSU certificate against Mr Tinubu. The allegation of forgery was one of those dismissed by Nigeria’s presidential election court in the suit Atiku filed to challenge the election of Mr Tinubu.”

Tribunal Judgement: Makarfi Ambassadors Urge PDP Leaders, Supporters  to Remain Calm

… Express Confidence Mandate’ll be Retrieved

Coordinator General and Engr. Aina Bolade, Coordinator Planning/Strategy

NIGERIA INDEPENDENCE: A HOPELESS NATION AT 63-Fadojoe

NIGERIA INDEPENDENCE: A HOPELESS NATION AT 63
-Fadojoe

Mr Faduri Oluwadare Joseph aka Fadojoe, a presidential aspirant under Labour Party, has x-rayed the myriad of problems besieging Nigeria at 63 and has proffered solutions that he believes that if properly observed will make Nigeria a great nation again.

This he disclosed through his usual broadcast from his official YouTube channel on Sunday, October 1, 2023 in commemoration of Nigeria 63rd independence.

Setting on track with “Happy Independence to Nigerians both home and abroad”. He followed by asserting that “after president Bola Ahmed Tinubu addressed the nation it’s important that as opposition we also assess the state of the country. The state of our nation is bad, terrible, plagued by insecurity, joblessness, demoralizing, hardship and in summary, it’s nothing to write home about; even when we are supposed to be celebrating 63 years of progress”.

“If we go back in history to 63 years ago, Nigeria was one of the best countries on earth. The naira was stronger than dollar. Nigeria was into exportation in coal, oil, cocoa, coffee and so many other products. There were so many industries in Nigeria: refineries, tyre industries, textile industries, mining industries and so many other manufacturing industries/companies. Now fast forward to 63 years after, most industries have left Nigeria, our exportation is almost zero. A dollar is now equal to N1,000. Today our refineries are no longer working”.

Berating the terrible state of Nigeria, the human rights activist noted that the country is now in a terrible state of hopelessness that, we are now importing everything, even tooth pick. That is how bad the situation of our dear nation has deteriorated under the different governments coming and going out: both military civilians hovering from one political party to another. Lamenting that, “the country has continued in vicious circle of vicissitude as the same generation of people have been running the country for the past 63 years, changing from military uniform to civilian gab hovering from one political party to another. All they have given us, is the nation where we have everything, but we lack everything.

“Though despite that it’s still important to celebrate our independence because, there is nothing as good as our own. But while celebrating we must also reflect on the serious issues bedeviling our beloved country.

“On May 29, 2023 when president Bola Ahmed Tinubu was sworn in, there appeared to be a ray of hope. But from the first day of his swearing in, he announced the removal of fuel subsidy. And that marked the beginning of another woe in addition to the barrages of problems besieging Nigeria.

“After that he introduced a problematic students loan that some of us faulted. And the same government has increased school fees of all federal government higher institutions astronomically. And this is dragging the country to the situation where the poor Nigerians will find it difficult to send their children to higher institution”.

Asserting that every policy of this government in the area of fuel, education or jobs has brought more hardship to Nigerians. According to him, It has gotten to the extent that an average Nigerian wants to leave the country to anywhere in the world.

The leader of Rescue The Vulnerable Initiative aka Rescue Movement For New Nigeria further observed that Nigeria now has the record of the highest rate of unemployment in the world. And now pride as one of the most indebted nations on earth. Yet the leaders keep borrowing to steal. In addition to the economic downturn there is so much insecurity in Nigeria, kidnapping all over the nation, genocide everywhere as innocent Nigerians are brutally massacred. Farmer can no longer go to farm because of fear of being abducted by terrorist operating under the name, bandits.

“Our youths that supposed to be the future and the strength of our nation, can’t even get gainful employment. Thereby they are rendering our youths completely useless; as only good for political thugs, social media commentators and e-thugs to harass their political opponents while the children of the political leaders are abroad building better life to return to rule over the people that their fathers rule over. Even there is no longer hope for the children.

“Our parents that are already in their old age, and now die avoidable death, due to the suffering of no pension after serving the government.

“Therefore, we are using this medium to appeal to president Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his government that there is so much to be done. We cannot continue sitting on a keg of gunpowder like this and not get exploded some days. The government needs to see how we can rewrite the history of our country and go back to where we missed it. Put in all it takes to ensure that our refineries are working not to keep waiting on Dangote until he gets his own private refinery working.

“We must go back to agriculture and the government must engage in agriculture before encouraging the citizens to engage in farming. We must make education our priority and not indiscriminate increment in school fees. Our security forces should be well paid, well taken care of and well equipped to combat insecurity. And they have what it takes if and only if the government gives them the necessary support.

“Nigerians are great people and can be so dynamic that if the right thing is in place, things will jerk back to normal in the shortest time beyond human imaginations. Nigeria can still be great again. Happy independence to my fellow Nigerians”, he concluded.

Tragic Incident at Federal University Dutsinma – A Call for Unity and Justice

Federal University Dutsinma, Katsina State, September 30th, 2023 – We are deeply saddened to address the general public and the entire community of Federal University Dutsinma (FUDMA) in Katsina State in light of a recent and tragic incident that unfolded within our cherished institution.

On September 28, 2023, a grievous incident occurred at Darawa quarters, Dutsinma LGA, Katsina State, involving eight (8) students of Federal University Dutsinma. This incident resulted from a heated altercation among the students, which tragically escalated following disputes related to a relationship with a fellow female student. This escalation ultimately led to the loss of one of our own.

The entire FUDMA community is deeply grieved by this untimely loss, and we extend our heartfelt condolences to Abubakar Barda’s family, friends, and all those affected by this profound tragedy.

This incident is made all the more heartbreaking by the realization that the individuals involved are fellow students within our beloved university.

Federal University Dutsinma has consistently stood as a symbol of unity and diversity, where students from various backgrounds coexist harmoniously. It is indeed heartbreaking to witness division or discord among our student body. We emphatically state that the actions of a few should never be allowed to define the collective spirit of our institution.

As a close-knit academic community, we must respond to this tragedy with compassion, empathy, and unity. We pledge that all requisite measures will be taken to ensure that justice is served. An ongoing investigation, in collaboration with relevant security agencies, is diligently being pursued. We want to reassure everyone that the students involved are currently in custody, and a thorough investigation is underway.

We humbly implore the entire FUDMA community and the general public to stand together during this trying time. Let us remember Abubakar Barda for the positive impact he had on our lives and resolve to carry his legacy forward. Tinubu will deliver Nigeria to the promised land – DG APC Support Groups

Tinubu will deliver Nigeria to the promised land – DG APC Support Groups

APC Chieftain and Elder Statesman , Engineer (Dr.) Kailani Muhammad is the Director-General of Confederation of the All Progressives Congress ( APC) Support Groups .He was in the forefront of northerners who rooted for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and mobilised grassroots support based via a group he personally formed under aegis of Tinubu Shettima Network (TSN). The Publisher of Liberator Newspapers and former NNPC Staff speaks with some group of journalists on issues that have hindered the Growth and development, despite attaining independence as sovereign country from 1960 till date .

However ,he expressed optimism about the capacity and competence of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration to use his vast knowledge in business and governance to diversify the economy from an oil based  mono economy to agricultural based for purposes of encouraging industrial development; increasing employment, producing enough food , reducing poverty and creating a sustainable growth and development across all sectors of the economy .

Excerpts

Nigeria will be 63 come October 1,2023, we have a new government in place  , as an APC Chieftain who fought hard  for victory of President Tinubu and Vice President Shettima, how would you describe our progress so far as a Nation?

So far so good ,when the journey started in the sixties, ask yourself how many roads do we have in Nigeria? How many industries? Also ask ,What was the number of police force and army that we had in the sixties ? How many lawyers and how many judges do we have ? How many engineers ,how many universities in those good old days?

It is true that we have not reached our destination ,but we are getting there .For me ,I  think there is a serious improvement and development .The only thing that is the bane of this country is corruption ,which we need to fight head-on and  vigourously . Let me talk about from 1960 after independence ,those our grand fathers did their best, the great Zik of Africa ,the Awolowos ,the Sarduana of Sokoto ,the Makama of Bida and the Tafawa Balewa, I can authoritatively say that  what they heard in mind was the country itself and not materialism .

Who do blame for the backward trend of development ?

We blame the military for disruption democratic process .Since 1966 through 1983 after the military took over, it has not been well with us as development was stalled basically, because of corruption. Corruption no doubt  destroyed all the stratas of our economy

What is your take on dependence on oil as main stay of the economy?

Honestly, there is no reason why Nigerians should be poor .I don’t want to say that the oil that we got is a curse . There was a time one President said we have money in this country ,but don’t know what to do with it . Instead of those monies that are supposed to go into infrastructural development, concretising institutions and making sure things go well with  more industries established, people were just busy sharing money.

What do have to say about the clamour  for Biafra Republic and impending threats of secession in South-Eastern region?

The truth is that unless and until we are able as a people to come together and know that this country belong to us, and that we don’t have any other country apart from Nigeria, these issues of secession will continue to rare its ugly head . An American man is will die holding America’s flag , because of patriotism and nationalism .He believes in his country. This is not the case here . People seek public offices to steal . Then ,you will be covered by your people and that’s the end.

As DG of support groups of APC ,What do you suggest as the way forward for a sustainable economy?

Agriculture was abandoned. When we were small, I remembered vividly that Nigeria fed the whole of Africa with rice from Niger State and earned foreign exchange as proceeds . Kaduna also produced maize that  fed Africa and the whole country . Today ,where is  the agriculture ? So, today because of oil,  agriculture has been abandoned completely .

Do you see President Tinubu’s doing something proactive to address the issue of agriculture as a drive for Nigeria’s economic renaissance?

We strongly believe that the new Renewed Hope Agenda will revamp the agricultural sector .And from all indications , President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will to do that since, he’s going to continue with anchor borrowers scheme of past administration .Most especially, that he has declared the state of emergency in the agricultural sector .All things being equal ,it will work well for us .So that we will not be dependent on oil as the major source of revenue .We must  diversify our economy.

Your  advice as a Confederation of APC Support Groups to Nigerians ?

We want Nigerians to know that President Tinubu is a democrat, who fought  the military  to a stand still. So far, he his only democrat out of all the past and present President  .Therefore, he should be given the desired opportunity to deliver Nigeria to the promised land. And on the issue of proceeding to court, Atiku and Obi should forget appealing to the supreme Court as they will be wasting their time and resources. Nigerians and the Tribunal have spoken, the Die is Cast .Period !!!

EV Cars Could Soon Cost the Same as Gas Guzzlers as Battery Prices Plummet

EV Cars Could Soon Cost the Same as Gas Guzzlers as Battery Prices Plummet

The price of lithium-ion battery cells, typically the costliest part of an EV, has declined more than 30% since March 2022.
Lithium-ion battery prices dropped 10% in August, which could help lower the cost of the electric vehicles they power enough to put them on par with gas-powered automobiles.

EVs have traditionally had higher upfront costs, with the price of the battery a chief factor. But the average price for batteries fell to  $98.20 per kilowatt-hour last month, according to energy analytics firm Benchmark Mineral Intelligence, the first time in two years it has dipped below $100.
Battery pack prices need to reach $100 per kilowatt-hour for EVs to achieve price parity with their fossil-fuel counterparts, Benchmark said.
“Decreasing cell prices could allow [original equipment manufacturers] to sell mass-market EVs at comparable prices to ICE vehicles, with the same margin, improving the attractiveness of the EV transition for both consumers and automakers,” Benchmark analyst Evan Hartley said in a statement.
A decade ago, lithium-ion batteries averaged $668 per kilowatt-hour. By March 2022, they were down to $146.40, falling another 33% to reach August’s average. According to market intelligence firm TrendForce, “a continued gradual price decline [should be] expected for the rest of the year
