Governor Dikko Umaru Radda Applauded for Commitment to Local Government Elections
Katsina State Governor, Dr. Dikko Umaru Radda, has received commendations for his unwavering commitment to conducting Local Government elections promptly following the expiration of the current local government administration.
Nura Maska, a Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in a statement he personally signed, expressed his commendation, highlighting the governor’s dedication to upholding accountability, transparency, and equity.
“This is clear case of open, committed and transparent leadership which should be emulated by other state governors” He advised.
He said Governor Radda has demonstrated high political will since assuming office, adding “The way he governs the state makes one feel that in the past a lot of things were not done right. “
“We salute and celebrate him, and we urge him not to be distracted, as the people of the state are in total support of him”
Maska also emphasized Governor Radda’s adherence to the Constitution, describing him as a leader who consistently demonstrated these principles.
“Katsina state should thank Almighty Allah for bestowing on them a Dikko Radda,” Maska noted.
He further praised the governor’s implementation of the Treasury Single Account (TSA), citing transparency and the effective blockage of leakages and corruption. Maska emphasized that corruption could be significantly reduced through a change of attitude, and Governor Radda’s leadership exemplifies this positive shift.
